Stainless steel or phosphor bronze hardware can be supplied at an additional cost for the main structural components and light sections. All structural joints are bolted with galvanized bolts and S.S./Brass nails. For uniform distribution of water, hot water basins are equipped with distribution boxes through which the water is evenly distributed in the basin and splashed downward through spray target nozzles.

Cladding is typically achieved with profile corrugated sheet, the joints of which are lapped to direct water away from the inside of the cooling tower. Specially designed eliminators with single to four pass patterns are selected based on application to cut down on water loss. Fill bars provide maximum splash and wetted surfaces for higher heat transfer rates. Wooden or PVC fill material receives support from either wooden stringers or stainless steel wire mesh grids, ensuring secure and permanent positioning. Depending on design, various shapes of fill material can be supplied.

The fan in the above model is directly coupled to the slow RPM motor (vertical flange with sealed top and enlarged threaded shaft). Gear driven fan systems can be provided if required in some stringent applications.
